Ep 5: Göran Roos - Author and Intellectual Capital Strategist

During his recent visit to Australia from the UK, I had the opportunity to chat with one of the founders of modern intellectual capital science, Professor Göran Roos.

Göran is a globally recognised expert in the fields of innovation management, industrial and innovation policy, and strategy. He is an advisor to organisations and governments around the globe and holds visiting professorships in Australia, UK and Norway.

Göran first came to South Australia in 2011, as a Thinker in Residence. He was a highly regarded member of the SA Economic Development Board and the Prime Minister’s Manufacturing Leaders Group. His residency led to significant innovation and success in advanced manufacturing in the sector.

In this episode, we discuss the critically improtant topic of the Green Economy and Transformation - a mission that Göran is currently providing strategic advice on for the Government of South Australia. Listeners will glean insights into the industries, technologies, jobs and skills that will be needed to realise the transition.
